Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Member Punjab Assembly (MPA) Rana Shamshad and his son died in attack on their vehicle here on Sunday. Police said that unknown gunmen sprayed the vehicle of PML-N MPA Rana Shamshad with bullets while he was travelling through Kamoke area of district Gujranwala. As a result the MPA and his son sustained critical wounds and both of them expired on their way to hospital.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and leaders of the political parties have strongly condemned the brutal murder of Rana Shamshad and his son.
