Eight suspects held in Karachi

Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) arrested eight suspects including extortionists during targeted actions across the city. The Rangers sources said here on Sunday that a group of extortionists was arrested from Hyderi market area while distributing the slips in advance for collecting Zakat and Fitra from the business community in Ramazan.
The extortionists who belonged to a political party used the extortion money for their criminal activities, the sources said. The citizens have been asked to contact Rangers helpline "1101" to address their complaints relating to extortion and other criminal activities. Quick action will be taken on such complaints, Sindh Rangers assured.
