Mian Iftikhar formally launched his electioneer campaign from PK 65

PESHAWAR: Former Information Minister and Center General Secretary of Awami National Party Mian Iftikhar Hussain Saturday formally launched his electioneering campaign by holding a big public meeting at his Kandi Taza Din, Pabbi.

Mian Iftikhar Hussain is contesting the election on PK-65. During the big public meeting dozens of local leaders of the PTI and PPP also announced joining of ANP by reposing full confidence in him.

Speaking on this occasion, Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that they are soldiers of Bacha Khan and always believe in serving the down trodden people without any political affiliation.

He said when we were in the govt we had served the people without any fear despite bad law and order situation and always stood with its people in every need of the hour.

He promised that coming to power the ANP would serve the people without any discrimination. He said joining of the Awami National Party by people such in large number all across the province witnessed record development in their tenure. Mian Iftikhar also met with old party fellow Inayat Ullah Khan and his family who fully reposed confidence in him and assured him that this time ANP would come up with huge majority.

Mian Iftikhar urged upon the party leadership and workers to come up with strong support to the party so we will be able to elect ANP candidates with majority of votes.

He asked the workers and party local leadership to expedite their work for placing banners, posters and election manifesto wherein to serve the people without any discrimination.

Earlier, Mian Iftikhar Hussain provided cap carrying ANP insignia to those announced joining of Awami National Party by leaving PPP and PTI along with their dozens workers, relatives and like minded people.
