Candidates of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement for the National and Punjab Assembly seats filed their nomination papers in various constituencies of Lahore, Sahiwal and Sheikhupura on Wednesday. According to MQM sources, Tahira Asif filed nomination papers for NA-126, Dr Zebunnissa for NA-125, Mian Sarfraz Wattoo for NA-118, Zahid Nadeem Mughal for PP 168, Mirza Zulfiqar Advocate PP 169, Khalil Saeed for NA 160, Imran Gul for NA-161, Mehr Tujjamil for NA 162 and Zahid Nadeem for PP 168.
Sources said that MQM candidates will contest all national and provincial assemblies' seats of Punjab. Rest of the candidates will file their nomination papers by tomorrow.
