ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, and others were booked in a fraud and forgery case registered at Kohsar Police station.
Police registered the first information report (FIR) against the PTI chief, his wife, former advisor on accountability to Prime Minister Shehzad Akbar, Zulfi Bukhari, and Farah Gogi at the complaint of NasimulHaq under sections 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 467 (Forgery of valuable security), 468 (Forgery for purpose of cheating) and 471 (V) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
According to the FIR, the applicant is an employee of a business dealing with the sale and purchase of expensive watches and is located at Jinnah Super Market.
It says that the accused nominated in the FIR, in connivance with each other had committed fraud and forgery for the purpose of cheating and presented fake receipts of our business’s letterhead, wherein, false receipts showing sale purchase of gifts such as watch, cuff links with is fraudulently obtained from Toshakhana with false signatures was prepared.
