KARACHI: The Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (Prgmea) organized a training session in collaboration with the USAID to train small and medium entrepreneurs the other day.

The session held at the Prgmea House aiming to enhance the understanding of members of the association on how to sell their products successfully on Amazon platform.

The session was held for capacity building of exporters to promote their products on the world’s largest e-commerce platform since the digital marketing has overtaken the conventional trade system.

Shaikh Shafiq Jhok wala, chairman Prgmea welcomed the trainer and members from the SMEs. He said due to Covid-19, the businesses declined throughout the world but the online business grew over the pandemic.

He encouraged the participants to start selling worldwide through Amazon platform which is a largest global digital market.

He said there is a potential to sell billions of dollars of products globally from Pakistan including textiles.

He added that Pakistan’s young entrepreneurs have the opportunities to utilize their skills. He appreciated the participants for making the training session a success.
