KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.378 billion and the number of lots traded at 8,948. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.800 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.208 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 934.641 million), Silver (PKR 826.174 million), Platinum (PKR 719.621 million), Crude Oil (PKR 392.105 million), DJ (PKR 166.022 million), Copper (PKR 136.296 million), Natural Gas (PKR 100.904 million), SP 500 (PKR 89.153 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 4.479 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.296 million were traded.
