LAHORE: One Muhammad Nawaz facing murder charge was gunned down on Monday outside a courtroom at sessions court. Shahdara police had registered a case against Nawaz on charge of killing his relative Javed following a property dispute.
When, Nawaz was about to enter the courtroom for his pre-arrest bail the assailant emerged on the scene and shot him in the head. Nawaz died on the spot while the killer ran away swiftly as security personnel deputed on the court's premises did not attempt to arrest him.
Later, CCPO Zulfiqar Hameed along with other senior police officers reached the spot and also met office bearers of Lahore Bar Association.
