HYDERABAD: The medical superintendent (MS) of Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) Hyderabad Dr Shahid Islam Junejo told that kidney dialysis machines have been installed and operation theatre has been set up at isolation wards of the hospital established for Covid-19 patients. He said there was no need to shift the coronavirus-contracted patients who had also kidney problems to the common wards for dialysis or operation theatre for surgery, adding that if needed, Covid-19 patients will be treated for kidney related diseases at the isolation wards.
While talking to the representatives of civil society and a delegation of journalists who visited him at his office, Dr Junejo told that all the resources were being utilized to treat the coronavirus patients admitted at isolation wards in the hospital adding that those Covid-19 patients who died of the virus, their bodies had been handed over to the families as per directives of the district govt with all-out precautions.
