Pakistan has rich potential for joint ventures and collaboration in textiles, leather, engineering, financial, chemical, mining and construction sectors besides offering unmatched opportunities for investment to foreign and local investors.
In order to highlight these opportunities and incentives, an International Trade and Industry Fair, ITIF Asia-2004, showcasing the country's sectors having potential for joint ventures is going to begin here at Expo Centre from January 26 to 28, 2004.
In this connection, a two-day multi-track conference on the sidelines of ITIF Asia-2004 will be held that would highlight opportunities for investments, joint ventures, collaboration and bilateral trade.
The Textile Asia-2004 Exhibition will reflect country's strength and economy's backbone.
A large number of international traders and delegates are expected to visit Karachi to avail and explore business opportunities in textile industry.
The Engineering Asia-2004 Exhibition will bring exporters and manufacturers from around the world to grab estimated $1.2 billion market of Pakistan.
The Leather Asia 2004 Conference will be held on January 26th, to enable the national and international businessmen to have an outlook on domestic leather industry.
The last sequential would be a generalised collection of other top most exports and related subsidiaries.
The Fair includes financial facilitators that will make international trade possible for local and foreign business seekers and manufacturers.
Ministries of Investment, Privatisation, Production, Commerce, Board of Investment and e-Commerce Gateway Singapore are organisers of ITIF Asia 2004, with Sindh government, Export Promotion Bureau, State Bank, Central Board of Revenue, Export Processing Zone Authority, Smeda, PIDC, CommerceNet Singapore giving assistance.
