The King of Comedy, Kapil Sharma had quit ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ but speculations are right that Kapil Sharma and his team have linked a deal with Sony for their brand new comedy show.
In fact, actor Sunil Grover who played ‘Gutthi’ in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ had tweeted saying,
According to Hindustan Times, Kapil's new show will be titled 'Comedy Style' and will be aired on Sony. Also, Gutthi (Sunil Grover), Palak (Kiku Sharda) and Dadi (Ali Asgar) from his previous show are expected to return too.
‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ revolved around a talk show format where different celebrities (mostly Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kajol, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra and Deepika Padukone are invited each week where Kapil took interviews of them and several actors took on new and also recurring characters. Dadi, played by Ali Asgar was an alcoholic grandma to Kapil, Gutthi and Palak, played by Sunil and Kiku Sharda, and were two irritating girls from the neighborhood. They were joined by Bua, Kapil’s wife Manju, their servant, Manju’s father and a lot of fun characters.
