Today, Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in the second Twenty20 (T20) at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
Pakistan team first by winning the Test series 2-1 under the captaincy of Misbahul Haq and then followed it by a 3-2 triumph in the ODIs with Azhar Ali. Now today, have a chance for a clean sweep if Shahid Afridi can lead his side to a win in Colombo.
According to local media reports NCA Head Coach Mohammad Akram said, “You can see that the players have a tremendous amount of self-belief because Pakistan have been on top of Sri Lanka ever since the tour started. The combination looks really good and the team has gelled well”.
This tour is already Pakistan’s most fruitful trip to Sri Lanka since 2006, and on Saturday, they will have a shot at sweeping the trophies.
However, continuing with their winning streak, they won the 1st T20 game against Sri Lanka as well. Pakistan eased home to complete Sri Lanka's seventh loss in eight T20 matches at the Premadasa Stadium.
