ISLAMABAD: Pakistani lawmakers have welcomed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Indian Premier Narendra Modi meeting in Ufa and said that in this tense situation, both leaders' contact is very important.
Talking to Voice of America (VOA) Federal Minister for Environmental Change, Senator Mushahid Ullah said that differences can be removed with talks.
He said in my view this meeting is very important and significant because this region has many, problems, conflicts and core issues, which must be resolved.
Senator from Balochistan Mir Hasil Khan Bizanjo said that if Indian Prime Minister visits Pakistan in 2016, it will enhance mutual relations.
PML-N senator Lieutenant General (R) Abdul Qayum said that both countries have long lasting issues which can be resolved with seriousness and sincere talks.
He said the joint statement which was read out by both countries foreign secretaries, all the attention has been focused on solving the bilateral issues.
