Hollywood A-listed actors Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling and Christian Bale have been roped in to star together in a financial drama based on a bestselling book by Michael Lewis.
Lewis’ nonfiction book tells the story of the build-up of the housing and credit bubble during the 2000s that led to the financial crisis of 2007-2010. The book follows several key people who played a role in creating the disastrous credit bubble. Hollywood’s big names have been roped in to play the key roles in an upcoming movie.
According to foreign media reports, Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling and Christian Bale are in talks to star in ‘The Big Short’, an adaptation of Michael Lewis's bestselling book of the same name. Pitt and his Plan B production company are set to produce the film, with a script from Adam McKay.
Pitt is very keen about getting the movie to the big screen, he has previously worked in a movie ‘Moneyball’ based on another book by Michael Lewis. The movie was a massive hit in 2011 and went on to be nominated for six Oscars including ‘Best Actor’ for Pitt and ‘Best Picture’.
However, Hollywood biggies and makers of the movie is yet to make official announcement about the star cast of the movie.
