ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is determined to boost its campaign against terrorism, and has announced establishment of a special committee for the purpose.
Pakistan's ambassador to Iran Noor Mohammad Jadmani said this in an interview with IRNA, late Monday night.
He said "The will of the Pakistani people and government in their campaign against terrorism will not be weakened due to the terrorists' resorting to such criminal acts as the Peshawar deadly incidence, but has even further strengthened."
The envoy said that Pakistan has devised a comprehensive mechanism in its campaign against terrorism.
"All the political leaders, people and army are agreed on the need to uproot terrorism in Pakistan," he added.
Ambassador Jadmani appreciated Iran as a friendly and brotherly country, saying terrorism was a shared enemy and Islamabad was ready for cooperation with Tehran at all levels in campaign against terrorism.
Foreign diplomats based in Tehran on Monday evening attended a commemoration service held in Pakistani Embassy in Tehran lighting candles in remembrance of about 132 martyred school children in a terrorist attack in Peshawar last.
