QUETTA: At least seven persons including four policemen have reportedly been injured in a hand grenade attack on a police van in Sariab road area, on Tuesday morning.
Police sources while quoting preliminary information said that unknown men attacked a police van with hand grenade in Sariab area, leaving seven people including four police personnel injured.
"Unidentified armed men riding motorcycle hurled a hand grenade at a police van of PS New Sariab," police sources said, adding that resultantly, seven people sustained injuries, including four police personnel. The assailants managed to escape from the scene.
The rescue teams took the injured to hospital.
