soya-beanBUENOS AIRES: Argentina's closing soy prices and trends on Thursday:

* In the main grains market of Rosario, soy prices closed down for a second consecutive day at 1,770 pesos ($354) per tonne from Wednesday's 1,800 pesos, pressured by losses on the Chicago Board of Trade, traders said.

* Nearby soybean futures on the Chicago Board of Trade edged lower on Thursday as spillover weakness from corn and positioning ahead of a monthly US government crop report offset support from strong weekly soybean export sales, traders said.

* Rosario soy for delivery in May 2013, which is quoted in US dollars, closed at between $335 and $340 per tonne from $330-335 in the previous session.

* Argentina's 2012/13 soy harvest is seen at 50 million tonnes, below expectations due to dry weather, the Buenos Aires Grains Exchange said on Thursday in its first output forecast.

The following is a list of grain and oilseed prices in Argentina's main ports. Values from the previous session are in parentheses. All figures listed are in pesos per tonne:
