(Karachi) A woman embraced martyrdom while an eight-year-old girl suffered injuries after Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing from across the Line of Control, ISPR stated on Monday.

In a tweet, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Babar Iftikhar (DG ISPR) said that the Indian Army troops initiated unprovoked CFVs in Jandrot and Khuiratta Sectors along LoC deliberately targeting civilian population.

He added a woman was martyred while a girl was injured in the incident. The ISPR stated that the injured child has been evacuated and being provided medical care.
