Presidential reference: SC to hear revised petitions today

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will hear the review petitions against its judgment on Presidential Reference today (Thursday).

The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), and the provincial bar councils and associations, on Wednesday, filed applications for early hearing of review petitions against the the Supreme Court judgment on Presidential Reference.

A 10-member larger bench, headed by Justice Umar Ata Bandial, and comprising Justice Maqbool Baqar, Justice Manzoor Ahmed Malik, Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin Ahmed, and Justice Aminud Din Khan after announcing the short order on Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s application a day ago (Tuesday) had adjourned until Wednesday (yesterday) for hearing the review petitions.
