FAISALABAD: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) defeated Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) by five wickets and won the SBP Governor's Cup Inter Bank Regional Cricket Tournament 2017-18 here at the Iqbal Stadium on Wednesday.
Put in to bat ZTBL, team could manage to score 191 runs for the loss of five wickets. Ali Raza was top scorer with 60 runs while Shahid and Zulqarnain scored 50 and 46 runs respectively. Hafiz Shahid grabbed two wickets for SBP.
In reply, SBP team chased the target in 18.5 over for the loss of five wickets. Bilal Shah scored brilliant 80 runs while Usman Nazir scored 64 runs. Jameel took two wickets for ZTBL. Bilal Shah was declared man of the match.
Chief Manager State Bank of Pakistan Waqas Kashif Bajwa awarded the winner's trophy and cash prize to the winning team.
