From July 1, lockdowns that had been imposed on Sundays and curfews after 1900 GMT on weekdays would be lifted, Erdogan announced following a Cabinet meeting.
"Stating my belief that cooperation between our two countries will strengthen during your presidency, I am ready to work together with you," Erdogan said.
"The clear commitment from the leaders was established that Turkey would play a lead role in securing Hamid Karzai International Airport," Jake Sullivan, the US national security advisor, told reporters after a summit between Biden and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Turkey was a key backer of Azerbaijan during the conflict, which erupted in September and ended in a Russian-brokered ceasefire after six weeks of fighting and some 6,000 deaths.
At a press conference on the sidelines of a NATO summit in Brussels, Erdogan said the meeting with Biden was positive for the future. Biden told him he might come to Turkey, he added.
The United States is in the final stages of completing a military drawdown, alongside NATO forces, by September 11 -- 20 years after they invaded Afghanistan and toppled the Taliban.
Erdogan said he will fly to Azerbaijan from next week's NATO summit in Brussels and watch Turkey play Wales in Baku in the Euro 2020 football championship on Wednesday.
The currency has tumbled 17pc since mid-March when President Tayyip Erdogan, long a critic of high interest rates, ousted a hawkish and well-respected central bank chief.
