imageLAHORE: Former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Tuesday.

Matters of mutual interest and the country's situation were discussed in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said the nation and concerned institutions were marching forward in the war against terrorism and a decisive war was being fought against terrorists.

He said implementation of the National Action Plan was yielding positive results and every Pakistani was determined to root out terrorism, extremism and sectarianism from the country.

The chief minister said there was no room for terrorists and their facilitators in Pakistan and terrorism will be eliminated from the country with unity.
