KARACHI: Rain or thundershowers with a few moderate to rather heavy falls have occurred at number of places in the Province during the last 24 hours, said the Met Office on Wednesday.
The highest rainfall was recorded at Karachi Airport 43.4mm, Nazimabad 32.4mm, Gulistan-e-johar 25.0mm, Masroor & Gulishan e Hadeed 17.0mm each, Shahrah e Faisal & Saddar 15.0mm each, Landhi 12.0mm) Sh Banazirabad 40.0mm during the past 24 hours.
In Hyderabad 18.0mm, Mirpurkhas & Chachhro 06.0mm each, Chhor 04.0mm, Badin & Thatta 02.0mm each.
Traces of rainfall were also reported from Padidan, Islamkot and Port Qasim Karachi.
The Met office has forecast partly cloudy or thunder-rain in Karachi during the next 24 hours.
The Maximum temperature is expected to remain in the range between 37 to 39 degrees centigrade with 55 to 65 per cent humidity.
Scattered rain or thundershower with gusty winds are likely to occur in Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Thatta, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad and Karachi divisions.
