PESHAWAR: A road side IED blast targeting a vehicle of the Levy Thrusday injured Political Muharrar and three personnel of the levies force on Wana-Tank road in South Waziristan Agency, political authorities said.
The vehicle of the levy force was on its way to Tank from Sarvakai tehsil of South Waziristan Agency when it hit the planted IED at a roadside.
The vehicle totally smashed as a result of the explosion.
The injured included Political Muharrar Shehryar Mehsud, levies personnel Noor Syed, Bilal and Naeem. The levies personnel soon after the blast started firing but the terrorist managed to flee from the scene.
The injured were shifted Headquarters Hospital Tank for first aid.
Political Agent South Waziristan Islam Zeb Khan immediately rushed to the hospital and enquired after the health of the injured troops and government official. After first aid treatment the injured were shifted to CMH DIKhan and Peshawar.
