ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country again surged to 2,150 MW from 1,850 MW as the total generation on Wednesday was recorded as 9,350 MW against the demand of 11,500 MW at 1100 hours.
According to daily data released by National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC), the hydel generation stood at 2,200 MW, Thermal 1,410 MW and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) 5,740 MW.
