Due to the special efforts of the Minister for Industries and Commerce & Cooperative Department and Anti-Corruption Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, the operational and functional system of 5 MGD filter plant will be handed over to WASA Hyderabad on 18th March.

On the directives of Water Commission Sindh, steps have been taken to hand over to WASA, in which a summary was sent to the CM Sindh in September 2019, following the approval of a contract between Site Limited and WASA. It was found that the management of the Hyderabad filter plant should be handed over the operational system of WASA. With the operation of the Hyderabad filter plant, it would be possible to supply clean water to the industrial area. Under this system, from Phulili to Akram Wah, 2 MGD daily Water would be provided on the basis of this filter plant project site. The function is being handed over to WASA in accordance with the contract.

This is an important project of providing clean water to the industries of Hyderabad which was a long-standing demand of the industrialists of Hyderabad. The problem is going to be meted out on Wednesday, March 18th.

Secretary Industries Naseem ul Ghani Sahato, MD Site Limited Aamir Khourshid, Chief Engineer Site Abdul Malik Bhatti, MD WASA Muzaffar Memon and Commissioner Hyderabad Abbas Baloch will also attend the ceremony.
