Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad on Sunday inaugurated Steam Safari Special Train in Rawalpindi. Talking to the media after inaugurating the new train, the minister said in first phase the Safari Train will operate from Rawalpindi to Golra (Islamabad). He said it will help promoting tourism in the country. He said tourists from the UK, Japan, US, Italy and Germany are travelling in the train.

He said the objective of new train is to project the culture, civilization, heritage and worth seeing beautiful places of Pakistan before the world.

Answering a question about Lahore High Court (LHC)'s decision on Nawaz Sharif case, Sheikh Rashid said the government did not make any deal with Nawaz Sharif and the court upheld the dignity of both the government and Sharif family.

He said timing holds key importance in politics and war. He added that the high court's verdict is not a win situation for Sharif family and neither a loose situation for the government but in fact it is the victory of the law.

The Minister said the crisis-like situation in the country will be over in next two months. "It is Imran Khan's agenda to not spare any thief and no one played any role regarding decision in Nawaz Sharif case," he said.

Answering anther question about JUI-F's Azadi March and sit-in, the minister said Maulana Fazlur Rehman ended the sit-in on his own will rather on anyone's advice. He claimed that five leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party are striving for plea bargain in corruption cases.
