On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,681. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at 11.324 billion and the number of lots traded 14,173.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 4.267 billion, followed by gold PKR 2.199 billion, DJ PKR 2.000 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.247 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 689.802 million, SP500 PKR 323.023 million, silver PKR 255.371 million, platinum PKR 133.138 million, Brent crude oil PKR 116.873 million, natural gas PKR 67.191 million and copper PKR 22.801 million.
In agriculture 23 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 12.014 million were traded.
