MQM to challenge Imran's qualification as MNA

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday announced to challenge qualification of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan as Member of Parliament. MQM will challenge his qualification under Article 62 of the constitution, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said while addressing a press conference here. He said that Imran Khan had not only lied to the nation but also wasted precious time and money of the people.
"The nation has every right to know, after the judicial commission's report as to who was behind Imran Khan's sit-in," he said. MNA Kanwar Naveed said that Chief Election Commission, Speaker National Assembly and Supreme Court have been contacted with proofs to get Imran Khan disqualified under Article 62.
