LAHORE: The Wildlife Punjab on Monday arrested 24 people from different areas of the province on the charge of illegal hunting of falcons, hog deer, forest rabbit and quail. The Department recovered 250,000 collective departmental fines from 22 persons to dispose of the cases, while FIRs were lodged against two others.

Out of these 12 people were arrested from Jhang for illegally hunting quails, three people from Sialkot and two persons from area adjacent to Sindh River for illegally hunting falcons.
