CKD based Trucks, Buses imports increase by 35.65pc

ISLAMABAD: Completely knocked down (CKD) based Trucks, Buses and other heavy vehicles imports into the country increased by 35.65 Per cent during the first quarter of current fiscal year as compared to the same period of last year, according to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

According to the data provided by PBS, CKD based Trucks, Buses and heavy vehicles worth $ 103,523 were imported during the first quarter of current year as compared to $76,318 of last year.

Complete Built Up (CBU) based Trucks, Buses and heavy vehicles worth $57,210 were imported during the first quarter of current year as compared to $68,610 of last year.

CBU Trucks, Buses and heavy vehicles imports into the country decrease by 16.62 per cent during the first quarter of current fiscal year as compared to the same period of last year.
