Indian actress Rekha dies in a car accident

The rising actress of Kannada film industry, Rekha Sindhu, unfortunately died in a car mishap after her car collided at the centre median on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway. The actress was travelling in a car from Chennai to Bengaluru along with five other passengers, in which three died on the spot while two got injured in the accident.

According to Indian media reports, the Tamil Nadu police say that there were six people in the car and suspect that the driver could have fallen asleep on the wheel, leading to the accident.

She had gone to Chennai for an ad shoot. She was 22 years old and a resident of Banaswadi in Bengaluru. The actress died on the spot after heavy blood loss.

The actress, who has featured in many Tamil and Kannada TV shows, has left her fans in a heartbroken state. Some took to Twitter to express their grief.
