"Rozgar Scheme" would be converted into "Awami Razgar" Scheme in the next budget, which envisages providing loans for buying taxis and opening of shops. According to private TV channel, the name of the "Rozgar Scheme" launched in previous fiscal year would be changed this year and besides rickshaws, loans would be provided for buying taxis and opening of shops.
Loan up to Rs 0.7 million would be given for plying taxi and Pakistan made 800cc cars could be converted into taxi installed with trackers for tracing its theft and personal use, while for opening a shop loan up to Rs 0.6 million would be extended. Initially, loans would be given against shops existing in cantonment or government schemes, which thereon would be extended to other areas also.
