RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49333.89 with a positive change of 590.33 and volume of 95,471,900 shares.

High and Low were 49551.73 and 48743.56 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 209,316,240 shares with 351 total traded companies out of which 252 were up, 86 were down and 13 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 32,105,970 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 29,256,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were Engro Polymer with a volume of 26,907,000 and price per share of 27.30 (1.12), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 26,497,500 of price per share of 55.10 (2.27), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 11,585,500 of price per share of 25.10 (0.87).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2462.00 (92.25), Sapphire Tex.with price per share of 1252.37 (59.63) and Sapphire Fiber share of 1204.47 (57.35).

The top three decliners were Khyber Tobacco with price per share of 865.02 (34.98), Sunrays Textile with price per share of 204.20 (10.73) and Colgate Palmolive per share of 2100.01 (9.99).
