42 officials to head tax facilitation centres

The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has nominated 42 income tax officials as incharge of the proposed Tax Facilitation Centres (TFCs) to be established under the ongoing reform process.
The Board on Monday issued the list of these officers to field formations.
According to the notification, five TFCs would operate in the jurisdiction of each Regional Tax Office (RTOs) for facilitating and guiding the business community in tax-related matters.
Under Sukkur RTO, Haider Abbas, income tax officer, would be incharge of TFC, Khairpur; Khuda Bux Abbasi of TFC, Ghotki; Maqsood Ahmed Soomro of TFC, Jacobabad; Mohammad Azam Soomro, TFC, Shikarpur; and Bahadur Ali Shaikh, taxation officer, would head TFC, Larkana.
In the jurisdiction of Hyderabad RTO, Abdul Waheed Qureshi, income tax officer, would be incharge of TFC, Badin, Thatta; Ahmad Ali, TFC Mirpurkhas; Ayub Shaikh, TFC Nawabshah; Asif Hussain Jafri, TFC, Dadu; and Gul Hassan Memon would be incharge of TFC, Sanghar.
Under Quetta RTO, Islahuddin, taxation officer, would be incharge of TFC, Hub, Gawadar; and Maqsood Ahmed Soomro would be the head of TFC covering Sibi, Chaman, Taftan.
In the jurisdiction of Multan RTO, Abdul Ghani Chaudhry, additional commissioner, would head the TFC D G Khan; Sikandar Aslam, TFC Bahawalpur; Zafar Iqbal, TFC, Rahimyar Khan; Hassan Zaheer Nomani, TFC Sadiqabad; Muhammad Fasih-us-Salam, TFC Vehari; Rai Abdul Majeed Javed, TFC Rajanpur; Muhammad Saleem Akhtar, TFC Muzaffargarh; Kanwar Abdul Rahim Khan, TFC Ahmedpur East; Ghulam Sarwar Qureshi, TFC Layyah; Muhammad Rafiq, TFC Khanpur; Sanaullah, TFC Chishtian; Rana Sajjad Ahmed, TFC Lodhran; Fayyaz Ahmed Lothar TFC Burewala and Muhammad Mohsin Shah would head the TFC Khanewal.
Under the Faisalabad RTO, Riaz Ahmed, income tax officer, would be incharge of the TFC Bahawalnagar; Farooq Ahmad Khan, TFC Sahiwal; Najam-ud-Din Khan, TFC Okara; Malik Muhammad Khan Awan, TFC Sargodha; Muhammad Ramzan, TFC Jhang; Shahzad Mehmood, TFC Mandi Bahauddin; Iftikhar Masood Khan, TFC Joharabad; Aqeel Ahmad Sheikh, TFC Toba Tek Sing; Hafiz Muhammad Abdullah, TFC Bhakkar and Qudratullah Khan, income tax officer would head the TFC, Mianwali.
Under Lahore RTO, Jaffar Nawaz would head the TFC, Wagha; Bushrah Fatim, TFC, Sheikhupura; Khalil Ahmad Qaiser, TFC Kasur and Khalid Sultan, income tax officer would head the TFC Nankana.
In the jurisdiction of the Regional Tax Office, Rawalpindi, Walyat Khan would be incharge of TFC, Wah; and Jowhar Ali Shah, taxation officer would head the Tax Facilitation Centre at Attock.
