Sundar Industries Association (SIA) has demanded the government to take immediate steps to protect the owners of newly established projects in the estate from land mafia.
While addressing a press conference, here on Monday, President SIA, Sikandar Hayat said that some defaulters are creating undue interference in the Sundar Industrial Estate (SIE), which has 70 percent completed and around 30 industrialists have started work on their projects.
He alleged that a group of selfish elements are bent upon to purchase those plots whose instalments have not been paid. He urged the government to intervene to avoid any big scam in this project of national importance.
