Speakers at a function organised by Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-N) Lawyers Forum have criticised the government for safeguarding the interests of America and working against the national interests. The function was arranged by Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Lawyers Forum, to celebrate the atomic bomb explosion. Among others Khawaja Saad Rafiq MNA, Rana Mashood MPA, ex-MNA Barjees Tahir, Begum Shehnaz and Naseer Bhutta addressed the function.
The speakers maintained that atomic explosion has saved Pakistan and now India could not dire to attack Pakistan. They said that India was not ready to talk with Pakistan on occupied Kashmir issue, but after the atomic explosion India had shown flexibility in its stance. They said the government has demolished symbol of atomic explosion and Shaheen missile before railway stations.
They alleged that President Musharraf is bent upon to remove all the symbols of dignity of Pakistan. They said that General Musharraf is working on US agenda. Expressing confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, they said that he (Nawaz) has taken firm stance against General Musharraf for his illegal and unconstitutional actions. They called upon the PML-N workers to join the protest of MMA being held on May 27.
