Even though the stunning Nargis Fakhri's starrer ‘Housefull 3’ hit a goldmine at the box-office, the actress had already 'packed her bags' and left India, for reasons best known to her. Needless to say that this sudden departure of hers led to a lot of speculations from all over, including love failure, health issues and many other reasons to that effect.
In a recent interview to DNA, Fakhri revealed the reason for her sudden departure from Bollywood. The ‘Azhar’ actress was down with lead and arsenic poisoning and due to which she had gone down to the United States to cure herself.
In another interview with a leading newspaper, she also stated that she has seen her mother being cured of cancer by applying naturopathy methods, and she also wanted to opt for the same.
The actress has for a while been receiving bad reviews from the media and industry as she could not promote her last two films namely ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Azhar.’ She was called unprofessional and received bad publicity from all corner. But the “Azhar” actress who is now gearing up for her upcoming film “Banjo” has finally revealed the reason behind her disappearance.
She said for a while she was not keeping well, so she visited a doctor, who she said told her that she had very high level of lead in her blood. He was scared as there was no way of curing it. But the actress cured herself by Ayurveda based on naturopathy and combination of different herbs.
On the professional front, Nargis Fakhri is presently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Banjo’ in which she plays a musician from New York. Besides Nargis Fakhri, ‘Banjo’ also stars Riteish Deshmukh in the lead role. The film has been directed by Ravi Jadhav and is slated to release on September 23 this year.
