M/S Gandour Group of companies from Lebanon is considering setting up a confectionery plant either in India or Pakistan for catering to needs of South Asian and Central Asian markets.
This was stated by Hiab Badawi, a representative of Gandour Group said this in a meeting with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) vice-president Shahzad Ali Malik here on Thursday.
Badawi maintained that he was here to study market and the possibility of establishing confectionery plant in Lahore, which being distribution hub would provide a platform to capitalise market potential, expanding business from South Asia to Central Asian Republics.
