The Karachi Port handled 97,609 tonnes of cargo including 81,355 tonnes import and 16,254 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 59,836 tonnes dry and 37,773 tonnes liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Oocl Harmony, Apl Portugal and Beliz Urkmez sailed to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Bunga Terasak, Orient Stride, Oriental Bright and Hyundai Highway are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Shalamar, Hyundai Highway and Bunga Terasak expected to sail on Thursday, while Garden Ocean is expected to sail on Friday.
Three ships namely Hammurabi, Mol Sprinter and Heng Tong due to arrive on Thursday, while two vessels viz Sea Lady and Ocean Genius are due to arrive on Friday.
A total cargo volume of 50,435 tonnes including 42,224 tonnes import and 8,211 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 6,311 tonnes edible oil; 3,010 tonnes chemicals; 9,432 tonnes general cargo; 11,707 tonnes coal and 19,975 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four ships namely M.V. Western Trader, Dorric Charriot, Qem Star and Maersk Avon sailed to sea during the report period.
A total of two vessels viz Chem Star Belle and Warbah are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Chem Star Belle, Safmarine Prime and Warbah due to take berths on Thursday.
