15pc procurement target achieved

FAISALABAD: Food Department has claimed to achieve 15 percent wheat procurement target and distributed 49 percent Bardana (gunny bags) in the district.

This was stated by the spokesman of the district food department here on Saturday. He added that 11 wheat procurement centers had been established in district.

The food department purchased 9184 bags wheat from Rajbah Roadc enter near Jhang Bazaar, spokesman said. Similarly, the department purchashed 19,339 wheat bags from Sarshmeer Road center, 9,426 wheat bags from Darul Ehsan center, 48,274 wheat bags from Jaranwala center, 11,689 wheat bags from Bachiana Center, 9,281 wheat bags from Rodala Road center, 14,285 wheat bags from Jhok Ditta center, 13,158 wheat bags from Sammundri center, 15,921 wheat bags from Tandlianwala Center, 13,732 wheat bags from Kajnwani Center and 59,293 wheat bags from Mamonkanjan center.
