ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Saturday issued price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar markets are as follows:
Potato Rs 18 per kg, onion Rs 42, ginger Rs 95, garlic Rs 110, garlic (China) Rs 310, lemon Rs 140, lady finger Rs 130, Pumpkin Rs 35, Brinjal Rs 30, Peas Rs 86, Farsh Bean Rs 86, Tanda Walaiti Rs 35, Cucumber Rs 30, Capsicum Rs 35/30, Green Chilli Rs 45, Cauliflower Rs 40/25, Cabbage Rs 16, Bitter gourd Rs 35, Spinach Rs 20/16, Raddish Rs 20/16, Turnip Rs 35, Maroo Rs 20,Yam Rs 88, Carrot Rs 46/40, Chicken Rs 187 and Egg per dozen Rs 72.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows:
Apple Kala Kulo Rs 110-135, Apple Golden Rs 56-92, Apple White Rs 80-46, Banana Pak Rs 66-90, Banana Indian Rs 155-180, Pear China Rs 140-160, Grapes Irani Rs 165, Orange Kino normal Rs 135-110, Orange Kino Special Rs 135-175, Guava Rs 110- 60, Apple Irani Rs 122-100, Apple China Rs 180-200, Strawberry Rs 160-130, and Melon Rs 45-55.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
