10) The Crooked House

imageKrzywy Domek, Polish for "crooked little house") is an unusually shaped building in Sopot, Poland.

9) Stone House

imageAccording to Forbes, Casa do Penedo or the 'House of Stone', was built in 1974 with four different boulders. It really resembles the famous home of the Flintstones. The Portuguese getaway has no electricity so the homeowners use candlelight to see when indoors.

7) Dancing Building

imageThe striking building situated n Prague, Czech Republic remains an amazing piece of architecture.It has daring, curvy outlines, which was designed by Vlado Milunc and the American Frank Owen Gehry, it is a stylish building, which has since became an icon of the city.

6) Cubic Houses

imageThe Cubic Houses are a curious and magnificent architectural wonder located in Rotterdam, Netherlands. According to Holland.com, the icons of Rotterdam were tilted 45 degree, the design by Piet Blom in 1984 represents a tree and all houses together make up a wood.

5) Nautilus House

imageThe innovative and somewhat audacious house located near Mexico City is a unique shell shaped house. According to DesignRulz, designed by Mexican architect Javier Senosiain of Arquitectura Organica, the architecture inspires to bring the aquatic life into architecture.

4) House Attack

imageAccording to building.am, Erwin Wurm, a renowned Austrian artist and Museum Moderner Kunst combined to create some architectural buzz in 2006, and the result was the "House Attack” situated in Vienna.

3) Cathedral of Brasilia

imageThe hyperboloid structure is the Roman Catholic Cathedral, sitting in Brasilia, Brazil. The building was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, who is considered to be one of the key figures in the development of modern architecture

2) Atomium

imageDesigned by the engineer André Waterkeyn and architects André and Jean Polak, the building was originally constructed for the Expo 58, the 1958 Brussels World Fair. According to its website, the structure symbolised the democratic will to maintain peace among all the nations, faith in progress, and an optimistic vision of the future.
