KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has appointed Malik Khuda Buksh, a senior business leader of the country, as the Chairman of its Standing Committee on "Foreign Investment" for 2016.
FPCCI President Abdul Rauf Alam through a communication issued here Wednesday expressed his pleasure to assign an important responsibility to Malik Khuda Baksh and authorised him to select professional and experienced persons as members of the committee.
The FPCCI Foreign Investment Committee was advised to comprise no less than eight members from the relevant field/sectors. Abdul Rauf Alam stressed that the committee be formed within seven days and it should hold at least one meeting per month.
A summary of actions taken by the committee be furnished for the information of the Executive Committee he added.
The performance and contribution of the committee will also be highlighted/published in performance report of FPCCI, he said.
