imageISLAMABAD: An eleven-member Pakistani contingent will be participating in the 22nd Asian Table Tennis Championship to be staged in Thailand from September 26 to October 3.

Talking to APP, Pakistan Table Tennis Federation Chairman Shahid Baloch said the Pakistani contingent includes 7 players and 4 officials.

He said the male players include Asim Quershi, Shujaat Ali, Muhammad Rameez and Abdul Rahim while the female players are Shubnam Bilal, Ayesha Ansari and Raheela Kashif.

He said the officials comprise Afridi Amjad (group leader), Khawaja Hasan (manager) while Khalid Mehmood Chaudry and Kafatullah will be members. "The team will leave for Thailand on September 25," he said.
