imageISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday expressed condolence with China over the tragic incident that took place in its port city Tianjin and resulted in loss of lives due to chemical explosions at a goods storage facility.

"The Government and the people of Pakistan are deeply saddened to learn about the tragic Tianjin incident. We offer condolences for those who have lost their lives and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured," a Foreign Office statement said issued here Tuesday.

The statement mentioned that President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had sent condolence messages to their Chinese counterparts on this heartbreaking incident.
