LONDON: Australia, after winning the toss, were 104 for one against England at lunch on the first day of the second Ashes Test at Lord's on Thursday.
Chris Rogers was 43 not out and Steven Smith 16 not out, with David Warner the only batsman dismissed in the first session.
England lead the five-match series 1-0 after their 169-run win in the first Test in Cardiff last week.
