ISLAMABAD: Religious scholar Professor Sajjid Mir Monday welcomed the Prime Minister's statement for defending the territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia.
"Saudi Arabia has always been supporting Pakistan on moral and political grounds,' he said while talking to news channel.
He said that Pakistan enjoyed good relations with Saudi Arabia, which had sought its help. Pakistan, he said, should assist the brotherly country.
To a question, he appreciated Interior Minister Chaudhry Muhammad Nisar for his strong reaction over the statement of a United Arab Emirates minister.
