KARACHI: Vice President of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP), Sherry Rehman has registered her party's reservations regarding the proposed constitutional amendment to modify existent election procedure for senate.
In a statement on Wednesday, she said at the current stage when polling schedule for the upper house had already been announced any amendment even to the election procedure is not possible.
The PPP leader said her party stood against horse-trading in every sense, and did welcome cooperation to strengthen democracy, however, would be happy to talk of broad electoral reform package.
