imageISLAMABAD: Former Captain Rashid Latif feels all-rounder Shahid Afridi should take back his retirement decision and captain the one day side after the 2015 World Cup.

Rashid further said that said Yasir Shah is a good one day bowler and should be tried in One day games. "Bhatti and Anwar Ali both played too low down the order which is why they didn't develop much as a batsman," Rashid said while talking to a private news channel.

Rashid said Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood were given opportunities to bat up the order which is why their batting developed. "We haven't been able to utilize Hammad Azam as a player," he said.

Rashid said if Hammad is batting at no.8 or no.9 for National bank then clearly he is not playing for them as a batsman.

Speaking about Misbah ul Haq, Rashid said Misbah is an experienced Captain but he will miss the presence of Saeed Ajmal in the WC. "There is a big difference in the bowling actions of Saeed Ajmal and West Indian bowler Sunil Narine," he said adding Narine will be effective even if he doesn't bowl doosra anymore.

Talking about the WC, Rashid said West Indies are looking to plan for their future by introducing new players and with Holder as Captain. "West Indies is capable of beating any team," he said adding but Chris Gayle will be under pressure as the whole batting lineup of West Indies will be relying on him.

Rashid said the ICC and cricket board authorities should get a hold or else Twenty-20 leagues will become a major problem. "Players from West Indies are preferring leagues over their country," he said adding we groom players by playing them in International matches.
